Drink driving, Mareeba: Police have charged a woman after a traffic intercept in Mareeba on Friday morning.
It will be alleged Police intercepted the 57-year-old local woman on Byrnes Street at about 9:10am and when required to provide a roadside breath test, she returned a reading of 0.135 per cent BAC.
The driver is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on August 28, charged with one count of drink driving.
Burglaries, Mareeba: Police are investigating after a residence in Walsh Street was broken into on Sunday morning.
Initial investigations suggest that unknown people have broken into the residence at about 7:00am and stolen a set of car keys. A blue Ford Territory, bearing Queensland Registration plates 407IKN was stolen.
Another vehicle was stolen from a residence on Mines Road at about 9:30am after unknown offenders entered the property and removed the white Toyota Landcruiser Utility, bearing Queensland Registration ROZ187.
