Unlawful use of motor vehicle charges, Townsville
Police have charged seven teenagers after an alleged stolen vehicle crashed into another car at Annandale on Sunday night.
It will be alleged the Hyundai sedan was stolen on the early hours of Sunday morning from a Mundingburra house.
At around 11.30pm on Sunday night the vehicle was travelling west on University Road when is has collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction. Police arrived shortly after the accident and located four juveniles in the rear of the vehicle and three other juveniles nearby.
Police have charged a 14-year-old Mundingburra girl with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and two counts of stealing.
A 15-year-old Kelso boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of motor of vehicle and unlicensed driving.
A 15-year-old North Ward boy, a 14-year-old Cranbrook girl, a 15-year-old Mount Low girl, a 13-year-old North Ward boy and a 13-year-old Vincent girl have each been charged with one count of unlawful use of motor vehicle.
No one was seriously injured in the crash.
