Join the Road Policing Unit on Sunday

Did you know: Motorcyclists represent 20 per cent of fatalities on our roads but they are only 5 per cent of the registered vehicles on our road.

Join the Ride and stand with us as we Speak Up for Road Safety and raise awareness of motorcyclists and motorcycle safety.

Mackay Police invite motorcyclists to join them for a ride!

When: 9.30am this Sunday, August 27

Where: Meet at Mackay Northern Beaches Police Station (Carl Street, Rural View)

What: We’ll be taking the scenic route to Mirani and stopping for a sausage sizzle when we arrive.

Mayor Greg Williamson will welcome riders, send them on their way and meet them for a sausage sizzle on arrival in Mirani.
