Police officer stood down, South Eastern Region
A 38-year-old female senior constable from the South Eastern Region has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service and will be tasked to perform non-operational duties.
The officer is the subject of an investigation regarding driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor whilst off duty. The officer was served a Notice to Appear and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on 5 September 2017.
