Elanora and Tallebudgera Schools colour in for road safety

Elanora Primary School and Tallebudgera Primary School are taking part in Queensland Road Safety Week through a colouring in competition.

I’m the local Adopt-a-Cop from the Elanora Police Beat and managed to secure a bunch of prizes including new bikes, scooters, helmets, passes to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and the Air Factory.

The schools have really taken on this competition and a lot of effort has gone into the entries to help promote Queensland Road Safety Week.

Both schools have the prizes on display and the children are very keen to see themselves on a new bike or scooter, with helmet.

Because there were so many good entries it was decided to get some additional prizes.

Local dignitaries will be involved in the judging through the week and presentations to the winners will be on Thursday and Friday.
