Road safety message getting “atention”
Palm Beach Police are promoting Queensland Road Safety Week by putting the message out on their station sign.
Addressing the Fatal Five, members of the public will see them all listed including the last on the list, purposely mispelt, ‘Atention’.
Inattention is a major element of driving incidents and includes people drinking beverages and eating food or even using phones, iPads and in some cases reading newspapers whilst behind the wheel.
The sign will remain in place for the rest of Queensland Road Safety Week.
The Palm Beach community are encouraged to do their part to help make the roads safe for everyone.
