Drugs and weapons located, Mena Creek
Three people from Mena Creek have been charged with a number of drug and weapons offences.
Officers from the Innisfail Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at a Mena Creek Road address, around 12pm Friday August 18.
As a result of the search, police will allege they located a quantity of methyl amphetamine, cannabis, a large quantity of cannabis seeds, cocaine, ecstasy, six guns and a silencer, along with a large amount of ammunition.
A 33-year-old Mena Creek man was charged with 15 offences including one count each of produce dangerous drug, possess shortened firearm, three counts of possessing a dangerous drug, and five counts of unlawful possession of weapons.
A 32-year-old Mena Creek woman was charged with one count of possessing a dangerous drug.
They are scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on September 25.
A 26-year-old Pin Gin Hill man was charged with two counts of possessing a dangerous drug and one count of possessing property suspected of being stolen. He is scheduled to appear on September 11 at the Innisfail Magistrates Court.
