Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, Fitzgibbon

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate the driver of a vehicle which evaded a Random Breath Test site in Fitzgibbon this afternoon.

At around 12:20pm officers were conducting an RBT operation on Linkfield Road when a vehicle tried to avoid being tested, driving towards a male officer and forcing him to jump out of the car’s path.

The officer was not physically injured during the incident.

Police located the car abandoned just before 1pm on Highbridge Circuit in Carseldine.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have been in Fitzgibbon or Carseldine area this afternoon and may have seen or have dashcam vision of the vehicle, a green Holden Rodeo utility with Queensland registration 575-XAD (pictured) to contact police.

Investigations are continuing.
