Traffic intercept nets drug and large sum of cash, Ingham

Police from Ingham have charged a man with drug offences after a traffic intercept overnight.

Police were patrolling at about midnight last night when they intercepted a vehicle on Pomona Raod, Toobanna.  

Police will allege that a search of the vehicle located a quantity of methylamphetamine, drug utensils and $27 000 in cash.

A 55-year-old Ingham man was charged with possess dangerous drugs and possess utensils and he is expected to appear in the Ingham Magistrates Court on September 21.
