Seven days to get your entries into the Off Keys Mackay competition!
11:59 pm on Monday September 4 – that’s when the entry period for your Off Keys Mackay competition videos closes.
Our police district continues to feel the impacts of thieves stealing our cars after they first steal our car keys – here is a chance for you to do something about it.
Put a short 30 second video together that raises awareness about vehicle key theft and suggests an idea of how to prevent this crime from happening.
To enter:
- You must be a resident of the Mackay Police District (ranges from Saint Lawrence/Clermont/North of Bowen to Gumlu).
- Create your video submission following the above criteria.
- Upload your finished video submission to YouTube. We recommend uploading the video as Unlisted. This means that only the people you share the link with will be able to see the video. See here for help on uploading videos to YouTube.
- Complete the Off Keys Mackay Competition submission form here. This form include the Terms and Conditions, parental consent and video submission.
- Entries close 11.59pm on September 4 2017.
I’ll remind you of the prizes on offer if your video is selected as the winner.
A night for two at the Coral Sea Resort in Airlie Beach with a free breakfast
The second prize is a cruise for two to the Great Barrier Reef through Cruise Whitsunday.
Time is running thin – get your entries in. Can you think of a time in your life when 30 seconds of work could be so rewarding?
Help your police reduce car thefts in your community.
