Wilful Damage, Atherton: A number of windows were smashed at a real estate business located in Main Street, Atherton sometime on August 26-27. The damage appears to have been caused by rocks thrown at the windows. Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and provide any information they may have.
Stealing, Yungaburra: A GE tray generator was stolen from a shed annex on a property situated at Gillies Road, Yungaburra. It appears that the property was stolen between the August 18 and 23.
The generator weighed approximately 90 kilograms and a vehicle would have been required to move it.
Unlawful entry, Atherton: Between August 23 and 28 a building situated at Mabel Street, Atherton was entered and a fire extinguisher was sprayed throughout the building.
Drugs, Paddys Green: At 1:00pm on August 28, police executed a search warrant at an address at Mcmillan Road, Paddys Green. It is alleged that during the search an amount of cannabis, a drug utensil and an air rifle were located.
A 32-year-old Chewko man was charged with possession of a dangerous drug, possession of a drug utensil and unlawful possession of a weapon.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on September 18.
