Update on the bad samaritan, Bowen
Last month when I wrote a story about a Bad Samaritan, I must admit I was not expecting the post to gain as much popularity as it did.
After over 800 shares on social media and over 8500 views on the blog, Policelink was contacted by several Bowen residents who identified a person who was able to assist local police with their inquiries.
Your shares ensured the post made it as far as Logan and beyond!
As a result of information received from the public, police were able to positively identify an offender and bring this incident to a satisfactory close for the victim involved.
Your collective efforts in reading and sharing the post, and ultimately providing information to police which led to an arrest, was above and beyond.
Well done, and thank you Bowen.
