Assault investigation, Dakabin
Police are seeking public assistance into an assault that occurred in Dakabin on August 1.
A 22-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by three men at Bob Brock Sporting Fields on Marsden Road at midday before the group fled the scene in a white four-wheel drive.
The man was treated for lacerations to his hand, knee and some bruising to his forearms.
Detectives would like to speak to a woman who drove into the carpark and spoke to the man to check on his well being in a white new model Toyota sedan at the time to contact them at Petrie CIB on 3897 7240 or anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
A 26-year-old Kallangur man was charged on August 21 and has been charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm, depravation of liberty and robbery.
The two other men remain outstanding and investigations are continuing.
