Keeping The Gold Coast Show Safe

Keeping The Gold Coast Show Safe

As the Gold Coast Show enters it last day (Sunday 3 September 2017), Gold Coast Police would like to thank the community for their patience on the road.  So far crowd behaviour has been exemplary with no arrests and only 7 Traffic Infringements being issued for the first 2 days of the show.

Again the Gold Coast Turf Club hosted a full Race Day yesterday and show patrons and race goers enjoyed the sunshine and attractions of the show.

Police from the Gold Coast Rapid Actions and Patrols  also enjoyed all the show had to offer and even found time to compete in the wood cutting.  Here Senior Constable Blake Sullivan and Constable Ben Corcoran were pipped at the post (well, that’s their story).

The Gold Coast Show will return for its 112th year in 2018 on the first weekend in September
