Where will the Lock Your signs appear next in Moranbah?

The Lock your vehicle and home signs have been popping up around Moranbah for the last couple of weeks, firstly appearing around Moranbah State School, then at Moranbah Hospital and most recently at Moranbah East Primary School.  But where will they appear next? Keep your eyes peeled!!

The signs also carry an important message though, reminding residents to lock their vehicles and homes and not make it easy for opportunistic thieves.

Though Moranbah has a very low level of property crime and is an extremely safe community to live in Moranbah Police would like to remind residents not to be complacent when it comes to securing your property and don’t make it easy for any would be thieves.

Please remember these four easy tips:

.  Never leave your vehicle insecure

.  Never leave valuables on open display in your vehicle

.  When you go out, lock your home securely

.  Don’t leave items lying around in the yard over night like bikes and scooters, always lock them away.

And don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for the Lock Your signs.  Who knows where they will be appearing next!!
