Police officer dismissed, Southern Region
A 43-year-old male constable from Southern Region has been dismissed from the Queensland Police Service.
The officer was subject of a disciplinary hearing in relation to off-duty behaviour that resulted in criminal charges for assault and wilful damage. The officer was suspended from duty on 13 April 2016 and has been subject of a lengthy discipline investigation.
In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer is disciplined for serious misconduct.
