Senior Constable Young heads back to school

Our busy officers from the Forensic Crash Unit often head back to school to help educate senior students about driving and road safety tips, however Friday saw Senior Constable Young hang out with much younger students.

Trinity Anglican School (TAS) Prep students were keen and eager for their bike safety talk with Senior Constable Stephanie and kicked off the day with a talk about bike safety in general.

Senior Constable Young said they covered off on helmets, riding on the road, bike maintenance and riding with an adult, however the kids were very excited about taking their bikes and scooters through their obstacle course.

“Whilst there were a few minor stacks along the way, they all completed the course and were awarded a ‘I’m a safe rider’ certificate along with water bottles and road safety colour books,” Senior Constable Young said.

Well done Prepstars!

You’re never too young to learn about road safety!
