Serious assault, Mooroobool
Two boys have been charged following investigations into a serious assault incident in Mooroobool yesterday.
At 9.30am, it will be alleged a call was made to QAS to attend to an unconscious patient in Mestretz parkland.
Upon arrival the male and female QAS staff were allegedly confronted by two boys who threatened them.
One of the boys then allegedly produced a pair of scissors and threatened the male QAS member as he was attempting to assist police, while the second boy approached a council employee working in the area and threatened him with a pair of scissors.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with one count each of serious assault a public officer performing function and common assault.
A 15-year-old boy has been charged with serious assault police, assault police and public nuisance.
