Drugs, Innisfail: A 27-year-old man from Hermit Park was charged with two counts of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug utensils and failing to dispose of a syringe after police intercepted a vehicle on Palmerston Drive, Innisfail today.

Police intercepted the vehicle at 3:10am and a subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly located an amount of Cannabis, an amount of Methyl amphetamine, two used syringes and a used cone.

The man is scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on October 16.

Arrest, Innisfail: A 35-year-old Innisfail man was arrested and charged with deprivation of liberty, supplying dangerous drugs and using a carriage service to harass.

It is alleged that an incident took place with a woman in a vehicle in the Innisfail area yesterday evening.

During investigations into the matter Police located alleged information relating to drug supply and harassing phone messages.

The man and woman were known to each other.

The man is scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court today.
