Police officer stood down, Community Contact Command
A 39-year-old male sergeant from the Community Contact Command has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service and will be tasked to perform non-operational duties.
The officer is being investigated for allegations of unprofessional dealings with colleagues and members of the public.
In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
