Serious assault Police, Innisfail: Two men have been charged after allegedly assaulting police in Innisfail on Saturday night.
It will be alleged around midnight on September 23, a woman flagged down police on Grace Street and reported there was a man causing a disturbance.
Police located a 22-year-old man who allegedly ran when approached.
The man was located at a Charles Street address and as police tried to restrain him he allegedly assaulted an officer.
It is further alleged a second man then struck another officer in the face.
Both men were arrested and transported to the Innisfail Watchhouse.
The 22-year-old Innisfail man was charged with one count each of serious assault police and serious obstruct police. He is due to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on October 30.
The second man, a 22-year-old from Flying Fish Point, was charged with serious assault police. He is scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on October 16.
Wilful damage, Tully: Between 7pm September 23 and 1pm September 24 a vehicle parked at a Richardson Street, Tully, had the windscreen damaged.

Drug Charges, Innisfail: Police have charged a man after a search of a vehicle in Innisfail on Sunday night allegedly uncovered a quantity of drugs.
It will be alleged around 9.40pm officers intercepted a vehicle on Ernest Street.
A search of the vehicle resulted in police locating an amount of methyl amphetamine, a pipe, scales and a knife.
A 27-year-old Goondi Bend man was charged with one count each of possessing a dangerous drug, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime, possess utensils, possess a knife in a public place.
He is scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on October 10.
