Burglary, Mareeba: Police have charged a Mareeba man after an incident in Mareeba on Thursday evening.
It will be alleged a man entered a residence on Sabin Road between 6.30pm and 7.30pm and threatened a resident before leaving a short time later.
The man then attended an address on Kay Road. When Police arrived, it will be alleged that the man was standing outside the residence holding a long screwdriver in his hand and failed to comply with police directions.
The 24-year-old Mareeba man was charged with one count each of burglary and contravene a domestic violence and two counts of obstruct/assault police.
He is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court later today.
