Single vehicle traffic crash, Tallai

Police are investigating a single vehicle traffic crash in Tallai last night which has left four people with injuries.

Initial information suggests shortly before 8pm, a car was travelling on Worongary Road when it left the road and crashed into a guard rail before flipping onto its roof.

The male driver was thrown from the vehicle.

Emergency Services had to work hard to free both passengers trapped in the vehicle.

All occupants were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations are continuing as to the cause of the crash.

Police are urging motorists to drive carefully on the roads as the school holidays come to an end and drive to the conditions.
