Drink driving, Mareeba: Police have charged a Mareeba woman after a traffic incident in Mareeba on Thursday evening.
It will be alleged police intercepted the 49-year-old man on Kearney Street at about 8:10pm and when required to provide a roadside breath test, she returned a reading of 0.223 per cent BAC.
The driver is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on October 23, charged with one count of drink driving, unlicensed driving and willful damage.
Drink driving, Mareeba: Police have also charged an Atherton man after a traffic incident in Mareeba on Thursday evening.
It will be alleged that Police intercepted the 46-year-old man also on Kearney Street at about 8:15pm, where he was driving the same vehicle and when required to provide a roadside breath test, he returned a reading of 0.165 per cent BAC.
The driver is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on October 23, charged with one count of drink driving.
