We doubt the thief carried this stolen item, Proserpine
A shed at an acreage on Tyree Road, Mount Julian (Proserpine) is the location for this offence. A number of items were stolen from the shed – including a 20 tonne bottle jack, old red in colour (this is lifting equipment).
It’s just a hunch but I don’t think that the crook called a friend for help to lift this item and carry it outside …
Between 12:00 and 6:30 pm on October 2 the crook/s have accessed the shed through a roller door which had been left partially closed. Items stolen from inside the shed include the following :
- fencing equipment
- steel picket lifter, white in colour
- steel picket driver
- variety of hand tools (chisels, hammer, multi grips, pliers, spanner sets)
- car jack stands
- bottle jack referred to above

No early Christmas gifts for the thieves in our district please – make them wait for the big day like the rest of us have to. Police encourage residents to keep their valuable possessions secured at all times when it is possible to do so.
