Grievous bodily harm, Bald Hills
Police have charged a 19-year-old man with a number of offences following an incident at Bald Hills yesterday afternoon.
At about 4pm near Bald Hills Road, an altercation occurred between a man and five young males.
It is alleged during this incident, the man was knocked to the ground with a stick and was kicked in the head by one of the males.
When police arrived, the five males attempted to flee the scene, where it is alleged they pushed the officers over then fled on foot.
A short time later, all five males were located and arrested by police.
A 38-year-old man sustained serious injuries and was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment.
The officers sustained minor injuries and did not require medical treatment.
A 19-year-old Caboolture man has been charged with two counts of serious assault police and one count of grievous bodily harm.
He is due to appear in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on October 9.
