Have you heard this noise, can you help police?
The noise a person makes when they damage car panels and windows by either kicking/punching, or using an implement is considerable.
At 3:45 pm on October 12 some residents in Brisbane Street, Mackay (between Alfred and Shakespeare Street) heard this exact thing happening. A parked black Toyota Hilux was damaged (rear canopy windscreen smashed, all panels excluding the front end of the car have been damaged either by bodily force or striking with an implement).
Contents of a bag inside the car were searched, it is not confirmed yet if any thing has been stolen.
Despite the fact that some residents heard the damage to the car being caused – at this stage, police have not spoken to anyone who either observed the damage being cause or can provide a description of the responsible person.
