Child Protection Day finishes off a busy week for Moranbah Police
Its been a busy old week for the general duties officers at Moranbah Police Station as we took part in a number of fantastic events to support Queensland Mental Health Week.
We had the pleasure of finishing the week off by attending The Child Protection Day event at Moranbah Miners Rugby Leagues Club, organised by Moranbah District Support Services.
It was great to attend with they guys and girls from Moranbah’s other emergency services and meet all the Moranbah families who attended. It was a great opportunity for us to talk to the kids and their parents about the importance of keeping themselves safe and how they can do this.
We may even have enjoyed the odd ice cream and candy floss combo ourselves. It was a great way for us to finish off a busy week.
