Stealing incident, Andergrove

Mackay police are investigating after a man was robbed by two people in Andergrove on Sunday morning (October 15).

Initial investigations indicate at around 8:30am a man was travelling in mobility scooter to an Andergrove shopping centre when he was approached by two people from behind.

The two people then reached around and unclipped a bum bag, removing it from the man before running away from the area.

The bum bag contained a wallet with cash, identification and a door swipe access card.

The people are described as a male and female who are both Aboriginal in appearance.
