Serious traffic incident, Coorparoo
Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious traffic incident where a jogger was struck by a car at Coorparoo this morning.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 6.30am a car travelling along Deshon Street lost control, mounted the footpath and struck a male jogger before landing in Norman Creek.
The 41-year-old man received critical injuries and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
The 48-year-old male driver was also transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or have dashcam vision to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
