Update: Wounding, Mansfield
Police have charged a man following their investigations into an incident which occurred in Mansfield this afternoon.
It will be alleged just after midday a 43-year-old Tingalpa man has attended a residence on Luprena Street and became involved in a verbal argument with another man.
Police will further allege a 35-year-old man stabbed the 43-year-old in the chest who then left the residence and sought assistance from nearby houses.
The 43-year-old man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment to the injury to his chest.
A 35-year-old Mansfield man was charged with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
