Burglary & unlawful use of a motor vehicle, Pimlico
Police have charged a man following a burglary at Diprose Street, Pimlico yesterday morning.
Police were advised that there was a break and enter in progress at a unit on Primrose Street at about 10.35am. Police attended and located a man inside the unit and took him into custody. It will be alleged that the man removed a flyscreen and a number of louvres out of the window and entered the unit.
A 28-year-old Heatley man was charged with burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. He is expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court today.
Public nuisance, Townsville
A man has been charged with public nuisance and unlicensed driving outside the Court house on Wills Street yesterday morning.
At about 7:30am two men were attending work when a man who was sitting in his vehicle allegedly called them “dogs” a number of times.
Police attended and issued the 57-year-old Aitkenvale man with a notice to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on November 8.
