Drugs and weapons charges, Upper Baron: Police executed a search warrant at an address on the Kennedy Highway, Upper Baron at about 9am Thursday morning and have charged a 27-year-old local man.
Police located eight cannabis plants in the back yard as well as approximately 110 grams of cannabis, approximately 22 grams of cannabis seeds, drug utensils and three unregistered and insecure firearms throughout the house.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Atherton Magistrates Court on November 7, charged with one count each of produce dangerous drugs, possess dangerous drugs, possess drug utensils, unregistered firearms and insecure firearms.
Drugs charges, Atherton: Police have charged a local man after executing a search warrant in Atherton on Thursday morning.
Police executed a search warrant at an address on Crisp Close at about 9:50am and located a cannabis plant in the back yard as well as cannabis seeds and drug utensils in the 18-year-old man’s bedroom.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Atherton Magistrates Court on November 7, charged with one count each of produce dangerous drugs, possess dangerous drugs and possess drug utensils.
Break and Enter, Malanda: Police are investigating after a break and enter in Malanda on Thursday night.
Initial investigates suggest that unknown people have broken into a residence on Bernard Street sometime between 11pm Thursday and 4:20am Friday morning and stolen keys, wallet and a vehicle. The vehicle is a white 2014 Mazda CX5 with Qld Registration 183VAS.
