Car stolen from Marian workplace located burnt out
A blue Toyota Tarago stolen from a workplace on Anzac Avenue in Marian has this morning been located by police burnt out at a rural location.
In a 20 minute period between 10:45pm and 11:05pm on October 23 the car was unattended in an open workplace – unfortunately the car was unlocked with keys present in the car at the time. This is when the thief has struck.
You may have seen this car in its travels, it has identifiable rainbow styled curtains in the interior – visible from the outside. It’s registration number is 108 WHV.
Unfortunately this car has been found by police this morning in a burnt out state on Cowleys Road near an intersection with Stockroute Road (close to the cane railway line).

Even if you are only leaving your car unattended for a brief period of time, police encourage car owners to ensure your car is locked and never to leave keys in the ignition or in the car itself.
