Search for DPSOA offender, South Brisbane
Police are continuing to search for a 28-year-old male offender, supervised under the Dangerous Prisoners Sexual Offenders Act 2003 (DPSOA), who went missing after removing his electronic monitoring strap yesterday.
Damien Kennedy’s last known location was in Salisbury yesterday afternoon.
Police are continuing to conduct inquiries in relation to his whereabouts and believe he may be travelling in a silver 1999 Hyundai Sonata with Queensland registration 739WQU (similar to the one pictured).
Damien (pictured) is described as Caucasian, about 178cm tall with a solid build, black hair, blue eyes and various distinctive tattoos including ‘Southside’ text on his neck, a full sleeve tattoo on his right arm, and other text on his hands, legs and ankle.
Investigators believe Damien may be in Brisbane’s south or Logan areas.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged not to approach him but to contact police.
