Public urination, Mareeba: Police have charged a local man after an incident in Mareeba on Friday evening.
It will be alleged that Police were conducting patrols of Byrnes Street at about 7.55pm when the observed the 29-year-old man standing in a carpark on Byrnes Street urinating.
The man was issued with an Infringement Notice for $252.
Trespassing, Mareeba: Police have charged a local man after an incident in Mareeba on Saturday morning.
Police were called to a residence on Ward Street at about 4:30am after the resident was woken by barking dogs and observed a male person in her yard.
It will be alleged that a 22-year-old man was observed to be hiding in bushes attempting to avoid police before he was located sitting in the gutter near the Ward Street residence.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on November 13, charged with one count of trespass.
High-end speeding, Gadgarra: Police have issued a 60-year-old man with a traffic infringement notice following a traffic interception on Saturday morning on the Gillies Highway at Gadgarra.
It will be alleged the Brinsmead man, who was riding a Ducati 900m motorcycle, was detected travelling at 103km/h in a 60km/h zone at about 7:30am.
The man was issued with a Traffic Infringement Notice for $1177.
Assault, Mareeba: Police have charged a local woman after an incident in Mareeba on Saturday afternoon.
It will be alleged a 42-year-old woman got into an argument with another woman known to her at an address on Ward Street at about 4:15pm when she threw a pot of boiling water at her.
The victim was taken to Mareeba Hospital by the Queensland Ambulance Service with burns to her back.
The woman is scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on November 13, charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
Drink driving, Mount Garnet: Police have charged a Goldsborough man after a traffic intercept in Mount Garnet on Saturday evening.
It will be alleged that Police intercepted the 22-year-old man on the Kennedy Highway at about 7pm and when required to provide a roadside breath test, he returned a reading of 0.088 per cent BAC.
The driver is scheduled to appear in the Mount Garnet Magistrates Court on November 15, charged with one count of drink driving.
Obstruct police, Mareeba: Police have charged four men after a party became out of control in Mareeba on Sunday morning.
It will be alleged that Police were called to attend the out of control party on Fenwick Street at about 2:30am when the men have approached police calling them out for a fight.
A 23-year-old local man, a 26-year-old local man and a 44-year-old Bayview Heights man have all been charged with obstruct police after they attempted to fight with police and then failed to leave when directed to do so.
A 44-year-old Mareeba man has been charged with public nuisance after causing a scene at the out of control event yelling and swearing at people.
The four men are scheduled to appear in the Mareeba Magistrates Court on November 13.
Drink driving, Atherton: Police have charged a Surfers Paradise man after a traffic intercept in Atherton on Sunday morning.
It will be alleged that Police intercepted the 44-year-old man on First Avenue at about 12:55am and when required to provide a roadside breath test, he returned a reading of 0.126 per cent BAC.
The driver is scheduled to appear in the Atherton Magistrates Court on November 7, charged with one count of drink driving.
