Shooting incident, Woolloongabba
Police are investigating a shooting incident at a residence in Woolloongabba early this morning.
Just before 1am, a number of people attended a house on Heaslop Street who became involved in an argument with a male resident.
During the argument, a firearm was discharged and the male resident sustained an injury to his leg.
A 27-year-old man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with a serious injury.
Police believe someone in the community knows who is responsible for the injury and we would like this person to come forward, either anonymously via Crimestoppers or by calling Policelink.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
