Appeal for assistance: Injured man, Railway Estate
UPDATE: August 8, 2017 – The man presented himself to Townsville Police yesterday afternoon. No further information will be provided on this matter and the media and public are thanked for their assistance.

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man believed to be injured following a suspected shooting incident at Railway Estate last night.
Around 10.30pm police were called to a Second Street apartment following reports of shots fired at the address.
Officers were advised a man had been wounded and had since left the scene.
It is believed 27-year-old Railway Estate man may be seriously injured and in need of medical assistance.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 180cm tall with a thin build, blonde hair, blue eyes and heavily tattooed.
Anyone who may know of his whereabouts is urged to call police or Queensland Ambulance Service.
Three men are currently assisting police with their inquiries into the incident.
