Armed robberies, Brisbane south
Police are investigating following two armed robberies at fast food stores on Brisbane’s south side this evening.
Around 6.50pm a man entered a takeaway food store on Fegen Street in Moorooka armed with a knife and threatened a male employee, demanding money.
The employee was unable to open the store till and instead gave the man a small amount of money from his own wallet.
The man then fled the scene.
At around 7.30pm it is believed the same man entered a takeaway shop on Old Cleveland Road at Camp Hill.
The man produced a knife and demanded cash from the male attendant.
The attendant complied and the man fled the scene along Bennetts Road with a sum of money.
No one was injured as a result of either incident.
