Ayr and Giru police locate drug crop
Police from Giru and Ayr conducted a search warrant on a rural residential property at Horseshoe Lagoon on Thursday, August 17.
Police located 30 cannabis plants in various stages of growth along with drug utensils, dried cannabis leaf and cannabis seeds.
A 37-year-old Ayr man has been charged with one count each of producing a dangerous drug, possessing dangerous drugs, possess utensils, and possess property suspect of used in the commission drug offence.
The man will appear in the Ayr Magistrate Court on September 29.
