Burglary with violence, Upper Coomera
Police are investigating after a man was assaulted and robbed in a home at Upper Coomera last night.
Around 8.50pm a dark coloured SUV was driven into the garage door of a residence on Denise Drive.
Up to nine unknown people believed to be armed with weapons then entered the home by breaking open the front door.
One of the male intruders threatened a 31-year-old male resident and demanded money before punching him in the side of the head.
The other intruders then went through the house and took property before leaving the scene in two vehicles.
The victim was not seriously injured and was treated at the scene.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have further information to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
