Car stolen while driver in nearby shop, Sarina

At 1:10pm on August 25 the driver of a white 2005 model Toyota Hilux (registration number 783 KZP) has parked the car on the road outside of a shop on Broad Street, Sarina.

The car was unfortunately left unlocked with the car keys on the centre console.

The driver was in the shop the car was overheard to start and the wheels to the car were heard to spin. As the car was moving away from the shop the driver has exited the shop and saw a male person seated in the passenger seat. This male person was seen to hold a can out of the window and gesture towards the driver.

The passenger was described as being a thin built person with a dark complexion and wearing a white hoodie.

The stolen car was seen to travel on Broad Street in a southerly direction. An image of the stolen car is displayed below.
