Drugs located, Cassowary Coast: A 58-year-old Wonglaing Beach woman will be dealt with by way of drug diversion for unlawfully possessing cannabis.
Police intercepted the vehicle on Tully Mission Beach Road, Wongaling Beach around 1pm on August 14.
A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted and police will allege they located a quantity of cannabis in the woman’s possession.
Police intercepted a vehicle on Corrinda Street, Webb while speaking with the 27-year-old Innisfail man officers will allege they located a quantity of cannabis.
The man was charged with possessing a dangerous drug and is scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on September 11.
Police executed a search warrant at a Jago Street, Babinda address around 9:30am Thursday morning.
As a result of the search police will allege they located several drug utensils including, bongs, glass pipes and scales. Along with a large quantity of cannabis and a quantity of amphetamines.
A 44-year-old Babinda woman was charged with two counts of possessing a dangerous drug and one count of possessing a drug utensil. She is due to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on September 11.
Traffic crash, Cardwell: A 42-year-old Ellabeck woman was issued with a $294 traffic infringement notice for following another vehicle to close after her vehicle collided with the rear of another car on Wednesday afternoon around 3:30pm.
Traffic enforcement: A 36-year-old Murray Upper man was issued with a $378 infringement notice for driving whilst using a handheld mobile phone.
Police will allege they detected the driver, travelling on the Bruce highway, Daveson around 8:45am on Tuesday August 15 using a mobile phone whilst driving.
A 43-year-old Mirriwinni woman was issued with a $420 infringement notice around 5pm on Wednesday afternoon.
It will be alleged she was travelling along Garraduga Road, Daradgee at 84km/h in a 60km/h zone.
