Police assaulted, Innisfail: Police located a 45-year-old Babinda who appeared to be drunk and staggering along Rankin Street, Innisfail around 10pm on August 15.

Officers have gone to assist the man while attempting to speak with the man he has rushed at the officers where he has struck out at the officers. The officers restrain the man and he was charged with two counts of assault police.

He is scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on October 16.

Break and enter, Mission Beach: Police are investigating a break and enter at a Conch Street address, Mission Beach.

An unknown offender has gained entry to the property between September 7 and September 14 and has damaged property inside the house.

Stealing, Innisfail: An unknown offender has entered a Rankin Street business around 3pm on Friday afternoon, and has stolen audio equipment. He is described as being in his 30s, solid build with light brown hair.
