Traffic infringement, Wonglaing Beach: An 18-year-old Mission Beach man was issued with a $126 infringement notice on Wednesday evening.
Around 6pm police stopped the man on Reid Road, Wongaling Beach, officers from the Innisfail road policing unit will allege the man was riding his bicycle without a helmet.
Exceed speed, Rungoo: Townsville road policing unit were conducting patrols of the Bruce Highway, Rungoo, when they intercepted a 24-year-old Kelso woman for exceeding the speed limit.
The officer will allege the woman was travelling at 103km/h in a 80km/h zone. She was issued with a $420 infringement notice.
Drugs located, Innisfail: Two men were charged with drug related offences on Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 2:40pm police intercepted a vehicle on Edith Street.
While speaking with the occupants of the vehicle police will allege they located a number of diazempam tablets and a drug utensil.
A 62-year-old Bowen man was charged with possess a drug utensil and a 46-year-old Pimlico man was charged with possessing a dangerous drug.
Both men are scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on November 11.
Disturbance, Cardwell: A 21-year-old Cardwell man was charged with committing a public nuisance on Thursday morning.
It will be alleged the man has entered a Victoria Street business and has become involved in a verbally argument with a male customer and has attempted to assault the customer.
He was removed from the business, police located and arrested him a short time later. He is scheduled to appear at the Tully Magistrates Court on November 23.
Charges, Rungoo: Ingham police intercepted a vehicle around 12pm yesterday in relation to a traffic matter.
Whilst speaking with the occupant’s officers conducted a search of the vehicle.
As a result of the search police will allege they located a small quantity of cannabis and drug utensils.
A 37-year-old Yorkeys Knob man was charged with one count each of unlicensed driving, possessing a dangerous drug and possessing a drug utensil.
A 31-year-old Yorkeys Knob woman was charged with one count each of possessing a dangerous drug and possessing a drug utensil.
The pair are due to appear at the Ingham Magistrates Court on November 30.
