Drug Charges, Eubenangee: A 35-year-old Eubenangee woman was charged with several drug offences on Monday September 25. Officers executed a search warrant at a William Close, Eubenangee address around 9am.
As a result of the search it will be alleged officers located a firecracker, a quantity of cannabis, amphetamines, methylamphetamine, and drug utensils including glass pipes, and a bong.
The woman was charged with four counts of possessing dangerous drugs, one count each of possess drug utensils, possess explosive (firecracker).
She is scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on November 27.
Stealing, East Innisfail: Police charged a 22-year-old East Innisfail man on Tuesday September 26 after investigating the theft of a wallet from a Martin Street, Innisfail address.
It will be alleged that between 9.30pm on September 25 and 10.30am on September 26, the man has entered the uncovered area underneath the house and removed a wallet containing money and bank cards.
He has then allegedly used a debit card from the stolen wallet to purchase goods.
He was charged with two counts of fraud, and one count each of stealing and possess drug utensil. He is scheduled to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on October 30.
Drugs located, Webb: Officers attended a Howe Street, Webb address around 6pm Wednesday night in relation to another matter. While at the address, officers will allege they located a quantity of ecstasy, and cannabis, along with a number of drug utensils.
An 18-year-old Kurrimine beach woman will be dealt with by way of drug diversion for the possession for the dangerous drugs and drug utensils.
Speeding offence: A 33-year-old Kirwan man was issued with a $420 infringement notice on Wednesday September 27. The man was intercepted around 4.30pm on the Bruce Highway, Rungoo. It will be alleged the he was travelling at 102km/h in an 80km/h zone.
