Break and enter, East Innisfail: Innisfail Police are investigating the break and enter of a house in Mourilyan Road and a Caravan on a property in Rita street, East Innisfail on Monday evening.

Between 7:30pm and 8:00pm, an offender has gained entry to a home on Mourilyan road whilst the home was occupied. The offender has removed a number of clothing items before being disturbed and fleeing from the house.

A short time later the offender has entered a Caravan on a Rita Street address where he has taken a black wallet containing and amount of cash, various store and bank cards.

Anyone with information to assist police is urged to contact police.

Juvenile charged with multiple offences: Innisfail police have charged a 15-year-old Kurrimine Beach teenagerwith a number of offences.

Police will allege that on Tuesday morning the teenager has entered a house on Cheshire Street, Wangan and has located the keys to a vehicle parked at the dwelling.

The teenager has then stolen the vehicle and driven it to an address on Josephine Falls Road, Bartle Frere.

Whilst at the address the teenager has damaged property and gained access to a shed and has stolen an amount of fuel. A short time later he was located by Babinda Police.

The juvenile was charged with one count each of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, burglary and commit indictable offence and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

He is scheduled to appear in the Innisfail Children’s Court on September 11.

Unregistered and uninsured vehicle and drug charge: On Monday afternoon at about 3:00pm, Police intercepted a 41-year-old Innisfail man driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.

Police checks revealed the vehicle to be 545 days past the registration date. The man was issued a notice to appear at the Innisfail Magistrates Court on September 25.

Police will also allege that whilst they were speaking with the passenger of the vehicle they have also located an amount of cannabis.

The 44-year-old Innisfail man was charged with possessing a dangerous drug and is scheduled to appear in the Innisfail Magistrates Court on September 18.
