Changed traffic conditions for IWLEC Parade of Nations, Monday September 18

Cairns was chosen to host the 2017 International Women & Law Enforcement Conference and highlight the importance of partnerships and co-operation between law enforcement agencies and community around the globe.

The IWLEC organising committee advises that it will be hosting the ‘Parade of Nations’ in the Cairns CBD on Monday September 18, which will see a number of streets temporarily closed to enable the parade to be conducted.

These temporary road closures to Spence and Wharf Streets will occur between 8am – 10am on Monday September 18 and will be controlled by police.

Delays are expected as road closures will impact on vehicles entering the Pier Complex and the Reef Fleet Terminal via Spence and Wharf Streets.

All emergency vehicles will access these locations, as required, during the closure.

Thank you for your patience during this closure.

If you have information for police, contact Policelink on 131 444 or provide information using the online form 24hrs per day.
