Cover all your bases, Airlie Beach
Old nursery rhymes tell us that when the Big Bad Wolf wants to get into your home – it’s the doors that are the focus of attention. Not in 2017. Nowadays when the doors are locked the wolf looks for next best alternatives.
Between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm on August 31 a burglar has climbed into a unit at Nara Avenue in Airlie Beach through an unsecured window after all of the doors were discovered to be locked and secured.
A large amount of Australian and Chinese currency and a credit card was stolen from inside the unit after it was searched.
