Do I call police if I’m involved in a traffic crash?

In 2015 the reporting conditions in Queensland changed, to help reduce danger to road users and minimise traffic congestion.
In the unfortunate event that you are involved in a traffic crash, the following information should be considered before calling Police click here.
With the wet season fast approaching, it’s a timely reminder to ensure that we take care on our roads and drive to the conditions.
It is also that time of year again when flood-waters cover roads, making them impassable and potentially dangerous.
Shallow water can be deceptive and easily sweep vehicles away. Water that appears calm on the surface, poses a risk of strong currents and debris under the surface. Just a small amount of flood-water can wash your vehicle away.
Remember, If its flooded, forget it!
